Along with the announcement of their new album, Jody And The Jerms have hit us with a great new single in the form of ‘Heavenly’. Their distinctive brand of indie-pop transports us back to the 90s via jangly, crunchy guitars and simple, instantly effective vocal melodies. Despite the track having the emotional core of being “about the perils of falling for someone head-over-heels and how that plays out,” it was written in a very juxtaposing traffic jam going over Henley Bridge. The band’s new album, Flicker, will be released on March 4^th, 2022 and is sure to be filled with huge tracks. -Dan Peeke
